Our story
The project was born from a simple truth: wherever an Armenian lives — in Los Angeles, Paris, or Moscow — their thoughts and concerns are always tied to the homeland. We know how hard it is to organize important matters from afar: observing the ancient tradition of matagh, buying flowers for mom in Gyumri, or handling everyday matters in Yerevan. We created Mek Meku (meaning "Friend to friend") to erase borders and unite our people in one mutual-aid network.
What is our mission?
Our goal is to create a space where trust matters more than contracts. We help members of the diaspora find reliable providers in Armenia for personal errands that require not just time, but an understanding of our traditions and soul.
What do we do?
Mek Meku is a platform where you can post any request: Traditions and spirituality: organizing matagh, ordering candles at church, or tending to the graves of loved ones. Care for family: delivering groceries, gifts, or medicine to parents and relatives. Local errands: checking property, collecting documents, or any other help "on the ground".
Why do people trust us?
A community of our own: we believe in the strength of Armenian unity. Here, compatriots help compatriots. Transparency: you receive photo and video reports for every completed task. Safety: reviews and ratings help you choose the best helper, and payments are protected by our platform rules.

We built this service because we know how important it is to have someone reliable at home who can help with a personal errand — from organizing matagh to caring for loved ones. Our goal is to connect those who ask for help and those ready to help, based on trust and shared values. This is a place where our own help our own.
